Teachers and Staff
Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Piano, Arranging, Composition, Electronic Music Production Bolton's owner and woodwind instructor Joe Sorce, is a seasoned professional musician and educator who has performed internationally with musicians such as Ray Charles, Clark Terry and Scott Henderson. He holds a bachelor of music degree in composition from Berklee College of Music where he studied saxophone with Joe Viola, Andy McGhee, Charlie Mariano and composition with Michael Gibbs and John Bavicchi. Mr Sorce also holds a professional diploma from the UCLA film scoring program where he studied with CBS music supervisor Don Brandon Ray. He has composed and orchestrated music scores for HBO, Showtime, Fox Television, PBS as well as for feature films. He is currently a member of Mt. Hood Community College's music faculty.
